Hi! I'm Peggy Guan from the People's Republic of China, also known in brief as China. This is the first time I've started a blog on a foreign site using English. Now I'm enrolled in one of the scholarship-covered program, US-China Bilateral Trade Internship, at Washington Center, in Washington DC. It's awesome to be here for 15 weeks, during when I witnessed the terrific storm, fantastic St. Patrick Day's Parade, the historical winning of Obamacare, and Cherry Blossom Festival~I will go back to China in May and go to Hebrew University of Jerusalem for a short course in the summer. I am applying to a volunteer program in late July to teach at local primary school in Tibet. Good luck to me! And the new semester starts in late September when I will go to LSE to study for a one year master taught program...wow, such a busy schedule this year~
This year, 2010, is Tiger Year in traditional Chinese lunar calender. I was born before the spring festival in 1987, so this year is MY Tiger Year! My year goal is to visit 10 countries in this world! So far I've "collected" the United States and Canada, soon I will have Israel visa stamp on my passport, then I hope I can have Cyprus and Turkey on my way, and United Kingdom in September, Ireland in late October, maybe Netherland in November. So how many more countries should I go for? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, right, 2 more.
Any suggestions?
